MARTINSBURG, NOV 11.
We this day present the Intelligencer to its patrons on a considerably enlarged scale, and shall continue to print it on the same sized paper during the session of Congress which has just begun; this session it is expected, will be uncommonly interesting and important—we hope we shall be able to give a correct though brief history of its proceedings.
We have been at a much greater expense for this paper than for that on which the Intelligencer was formerly printed; we make no additional charge to our subscribers—we only ask of them punctuality.
An Election for the choice of Electors of President and Vice-President of the United States, was held in this town on Monday last. The votes given for the Monroe ticket were 154. For the Madison ticket, 131.
