Full Text
The Republican organs are industriously striving to make it appear that England is particularly opposed to Mr. Blaine and anxious for his defeat. If such representations be not false, why is it that the London Times takes the pains to publish powerful leaders in advocacy of Mr. Blaine and his election? Perhaps these papers will now take the ground that the London Times is not an English journal. There is really every reason to believe that the election of Mr. Blaine would suit Great Britain quite as well as that of any other man mentioned.
