Full Text

A Wild Man.—A man named Williams was stopping at the United States Hotel, yesterday, who might be justly styled a "wild man."

He eats nothing that is cooked, nor drinks anything but water. His meats and all his vegetables, potatoes, cabbages, turnips, &c., are raw. He alleges that he has not eaten any cooked food for several years and that any deviation from his present mode of living would most probably cause his death. He resides in Iowa, and is on his way to Washington, to make a purchase of United States lands.—Cin. Gaz.
