Full Text

It will be recollected, that the printing for the United States was taken some time since, from the National Intelligencer, and given to the Washington Telegraph. The consequence has been, that the printing, during the last Congressional session, cost the Country fifteen thousand dollars more than in any former year. Probably the extra expense went to pay for some of the Extra Telegraphs, which the kind-hearted editor is in the habit of circulating, as if gratuitously through every vein of the United States. So much for Jackson economy.
