Arrival of Blooded Stock.

The fine roan Durham bull, "Empire," eighteen months old and weighing 1,300 pounds, arrived here on the steamer Sonora, having been shipped hither by Henry Carlton, Jr., of William T. Coleman & Co., from New York. The bull took the first premium at the New York State Fair, and being a full blooded Durham, will be a valuable addition to the stock of the State. It is now at Fish & Co's. Black Hawk stables, Pine street, whence it will shortly be sent to Mr. Carlton's ranch, in Santa Cruz county.—Alta.
