Retail non-depositors of sugar ration certificates last week were reminded by the office of Price Administration that they will have only 30 days from the expiration of Spare Stamp 49 on September 30 in which to transfer the ration evidences to their suppliers.
P. T. Tattersall, sugar rationing representative of the OPA's Pacific Region, San Francisco, at the same time called the attention of depositors to the regulations which provide that their deposits must be completed within 40 days from the expiration of the same stamp.
On the date of expiration of Spare Stamp 49, consumers will have Spare Stamp 51 with which to obtain the regular ration of five pounds of sugar through December 31. Spare Stamp 51 became valid September 1.
