London, Oct. 27.-A telegram from Vienna reports that Prince Auersperg, President of the Austrian Council, replying in the Reichrath to the interpellation on the Eastern Question declared that Austria's policy was above everything to maintain peace, and consequently any aspiration toward the acquisition of foreign territory was out of the question. Count Andrassy could not suffer his policy to be influenced by the interests of different nationalities, but solely by those of the entire empire. He would continue to resolutely strive for the maintenance of peace and the amelioration of the condition of the chieftains in Turkey.
