Jackson Will Not Break Down.

CINCINNATI, April 24.-Jackson, the accused murderer of Pearl Bryan is rapidly losing his appearance of pluck and stolid indifference. The prisoner does not look particularly worried, but he has the appearance of being broken with extreme cares and far from a normal condition as regards health.

His eyes are yellowish and badly bloodshot, probably caused by close confinement and excessive smoking and bad air. While these features may at some future time undermine the prisoner's health, the record of his having broken down from overstrain or from any evidence or scene that may take place during the course of his trial will never be made. As Jackson walked into court Thursday morning he surely presented the appearance of a man of nerve and pluck who is just at present taking things as they come philosophically. The interest in the trial is intense and immense crowds gather at the courthouse daily to catch a glimpse of the prisoner.
