Federal Buildings--

The Congressional Record contains reference to the introduction by Senator Oddie of a bill providing for additions and extensions to the postoffice building at Reno. This is in line with plans announced by him while he was in Reno during the campaign. The senator hopes to secure authority for the construction of a building large enough to house all federal departments here adequately and has obtained from the various department heads statements as to their needs. The post office, itself, is sadly lacking in floor space and proper working facilities.

Senator Oddie also has introduced a bill to authorize the acquisition of a site and erection of a federal building at Lovelock. Both bills were referred to the senate committee on public buildings and grounds. Reno Gazette.
