HALIFAX, N. S., April 23.-In the House of Assembly yesterday afternoon James A. Frazer, of Guysboro, reopened the debate on the repeal resolution introduced by Provincial Secretary Fielding. Mr. Frazer delivered an able speech in support of the agitation for Nova Scotia's withdrawal from the Union. Mr. McCall, of Pictou, then moved his annexation resolution, which motion was seconded by David Hearn (Conservative), of Richmond. The latter said he was not in favor of the object of Mr. McCall's resolution, but seconded it because some of the members were charged with being annexationists, and he desired to know if the charge was true. On the vote being taken 26 voted against the motion and only Mr. McCall for it. After this William Roche (Liberal), of Halifax, spoke in the strongest language against the Union, and the debate was then adjourned.
