BARKER STILL AT LARGE.

Youthful Outlaw and Jail Breaker Eludes Pursuing Posses.

PROSSER, Jan., 15.-Sheriff Mcneil and his posses are still out searching for Kid Barker and Bare, the two prisoners who escaped from the jail there Thursday night, but no trace whatever of the men has been secured.

It is believed that Barker may have friends who are hiding him, as with the extreme cold weather it would be impossible for the men to remain in hiding without food for so long a time and the fact that every farmer in the vicinity of Prosser has been given a description of the men, and none report having seen them, leads to the belief that they may be near by under the protection of unknown friends.
