STATE LEGISLATURE

The bill to repeal the restrictions upon the Northwestern Virginia Railroad, was finally passed on Monday, in the House of Delegates, in a form acceptable to its peculiar patrons. It is not known what will be the fate of the measure in the Senate, at this late period of the session.

Nothing of the slightest importance to the people of this section was transacted in either House of the Legislature on Tuesday.—Wheeling Gaz.

The same may be said of all the remaining days of the week.

Both Houses have agreed to extend the session till the 17th of March.
