A young Woman was unhappily about marrying herself to a Member of a Family, whose Necessities were so urgent, that they were obliged to eat Two of their own Children, one of them 12 Years old; the poor Girl, in this Distress, generously disposed of all she had towards their Relief ; but when every thing was gone, the Bridegroom flung down his intended Consort, cut her Throat, and fed upon her Carcase with the rest of the Family : They were all taken up, confessed the Fact, and will undoubtedly receive a Punishment suitable to the Enormity of their Crimes.
