Yesterday arrived at the General Post Office, a West-India
Mail, brought by the Countess of Leicester Packet Boat, which
sailed from Jamaica the 12th of March; and by Letters from
Thence of the same Day, there is Advice, that on the 17th of February a Cartel Ship arrived there from Carthagena, the Captain whereof, and Passengers on board her, give a positive Account of the Governors of Carthagena and Porto Bello having received Advice, that Commodore Barnet's Squadron, consisting of five Sail, had taken four rich Prizes, going from Lima to Carthagena, having on board in Specie, eight Million of Pieces of Eight, registered, which is near Two Millions Sterling.
