The Adrian Expositor contains a letter from Col. Edwin Avery, formerly of this city, dated Big Kerion, Dec. 24.
Sooner, Hance, Ramsdell, Foreman and Van Orden, moved here with us, and built their houses about fifty feet from us. Van Orden and Ramsdell have gone to the city, and Henry Crittenden is living with Spooner and Hance. W. G. Clark, D. Woodbury and D. Cleveland of Toledo, have built in a canyon about one mile from us.—Woodbury is in this city;—is at Weaver gambling; Richmond is in this city—a sort of master of ceremonies at the Iran House, Skanner and Parks are chopping wood below the city. Yager and Cleveland, who started a month before we did, from Toledo, by the way of the Isthmus, did not get to San Francisco till a week after we got to the mines at Weaver. Our friend Corey is making rockers.
