Full Text
Zoroaster, says, in his writings, that the Dey once gave him a sight of hell and of the punishments reserved for the wicked. He saw several kings there, and among others, one who had but one foot. He inquired the reason of his lameness. The Almighty replied; "This perverse king never did but one good action in the whole course of his life: As he was once going to the chase, he saw a donkey tied so far from its tub that it could not eat. He made one step with his right foot towards the tub. I have placed that foot in Heaven; all the rest of his body is here in hell."
