Delay Granted In Border Case

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22. (U.P.) The federal government today had until December 21 to reply to the suit of Nathan Kaufman, Coronado resident, seeking to force immigration official to keep the border at Tijuana open after 9 p. m.

The delay was granted without dissent yesterday.

In his complaint, Kaufman alleges the government has no authority to close the international boundary line and that the closing seriously interferes with the normal pursuit of international trade.
