Full Text

A moving picture crew visited Hillsville and re-enacted the whole gruesome tragedy of the assassination of the judge and other court officials, and the films will show people all over the country just how the Allens did it. It would have been a joke on the moving picture gents if old man Sidna Allen, or one of his boys, had been attracted by the firing and shown up in person to see what the rucus was about. Those moving picture folks would be moving yet, and so rapidly that photography couldn't catch em.
