Full Text

For the Morning Star.

Bangor, Me. Feb. 23.

Brother Burr:—We are striving, by the grace of God, to build up truth, and we feel the assurance at present that our labors in the Lord are not in vain. Our congregation is twice as large as it was a few months ago, and the interest in the Sabbath school is greater. A few have recently commenced seeking the pearl of great price, and two have professed to find it, and give good evidence of the same; but, as a church and congregation, we greatly lack love for the cross of Christ.
