VIENNA, July 19.

Orders have been issued from the War Office to several regiments, making in the whole 40,000, to hold themselves in readiness to march at a moment's warning towards the Rhine.

Prince de Kaunitz has entreated his majesty to give him leave to resign his office of prime Minister, and to retire from public affairs. He alleges that his great age (four score) and infirmities as the grounds of this request.

It is thought the Emperor, however loth to part with so able and faithful a servant, must grant his request, as the Prince is actually confined to his bed by his infirmities, and totally unable to transact business.

He has recommended to his majesty Count de Cobenzl, as a man who is best qualified, by his knowledge, abilities and integrity, to assist his Sovereign in the arduous duties of his high station.
