EXECUTION...... William Hill, convicted in the United States' District Court, at New-York, of murdering Robert R. Galloway, master of the schooner Decatur, on the high seas, and sentenced to be hung, was taken from the city prison at eight o'clock on Friday morning, and conducted to Ellis Island by the United States' Marshal and a corps of Marines from the Navy Yard. At a quarter past 10 o'clock, the sentence of the court was put in execution, and he died without a struggle. His body was given up to the surgeons for galvanic experiments.
