with the original front, ceramic tile in brown and buff having been set from the sidewalk level to a height of about three feet. The new display windows in the store-space were modeled after the original knee-level windows in the original store and are finished in light oak flooring, which was sanded and varnished for use as an attractive background for the wide variety of items listed in the Jones and Jones stock. An ornamental iron grill, with the word "Jones" forming its lower panel, closes the former door leading from the street into the new space but can be removed if desired to permit another entrance to the store.

The entire interior of both buildings has been redecorated. The north half of the store has been given over entirely to the gift shop and book shop. A beautiful light green tile covers the floor of the shop and the same color is used as a wall finish to give the shop an appearance of cool, airy beauty.

The varied groups of attractive gifts are displayed in modernistic cases designed especially for the new store by Mrs. Frank Jones, member of the firm actively in charge of gifts and books. The book shop is located in the rear of the gift display and adjoins the public lounge.

Supply, Stationery Head Special dressing and rest rooms for ladies have been provided. The book shop, as always, has the newest and most popular books available either for purchase or rental.

Mrs. Jones announced the addition of a new line of distinctive furniture, made possible by the increased floor space of the enlarged store. Particularly attractive are the new tables just received, both dining and occasional tables being included in the displays. She has also added several new gift lines, including both sterling and plated silver.

The office supply and stationery departments are directed by Frank M. Jones, the other partner in the firm. Added floor space has permitted special displays of the new designs in office furniture in variety of styles and finishes. The full stock of office supplies is also announced by reason of the added floor space and practically every item that the office may require can be obtained from this complete stock, Mr. Jones stated. The office supply and stationery departments are located in the front.

Piggly-Wiggly location and connecting passageways with the gift and book department. The firm is now the Valley's largest office supply concern, according to Mr. Jones.
