Full Text

These pictures were taken Friday afternoon of last week at two local elevators and show how the wheat trucks were lined up waiting to unload. Since the elevators were plugged the trucks had to wait until the elevators could secure cars before unloading.

The upper picture was taken from the roof of the Occident elevator, while the lower view was the one that met your eye in the driveway of the Equity Co-op Elevator Association. Instead of the rush tapering off with the end of harvest, more trucks than ever lined the elevator driveways. Some of the trucks shown in the picture were still unloaded Saturday evening.
