Extract of a Letter from Versailles, April 23.

The 15th Inst. at Night, M. Amelot, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, received a Courier from London, whose Dispatches appeared to him of such Importance that he went immediately to Issy to communicate them to the Cardinal de Fleury. The Earl of Waldegrave, Ambassador from the King of Great-Britain, having complained to the Court of the Strictness with which the Arrear of 1710 is put in Execution, which is of vast Prejudice to the Merchants of his Nation, his Excellency has been given to understand, that the English must not expect any Alteration in that Article, unless they lessen the Duties on French Wines exported to England.
