HE'S CAPTAIN NOW.
Charles Roberts, Formerly of Maysville, is a Record Breaker.

The Dayton Times says Captain Charles Roberts, in command of Company 23 at the Soldiers' Home, is something of a record breaker himself.

He was 51 years of age on the 18th ult., and on that day commanded three different companies at the Home and officially signed papers for each company.

Captain Roberts was born in Brooklyn, but was reared at Maysville, enlisted in the Fortieth Kentucky Mounted Infantry and served during the war.

He afterward attended Grundy's Commercial College in Cincinnati and worked in planing mills in Maysville, London, O., and in Lexington, and in December, 1893, entered the Home.
