The Laborer is worthy of his hire.
PETER BELLIGERENT PORTER made his flaming report in favor of war, and, after it was declared, became Army Contractor.
Mr. Troup, of Georgia, has bellowed loudly in favor of war, and is, we are told, appointed Accountant to the War Department !-Whether he will decide that Wine-Coolers and Card-Tables are munitions of war, and chargeable to the Public as military contingencies, remains to be seen-but the People of the United States will do well to reflect how rank and alarming must collusion be, when an accounting officer is dismissed the service by the President of the U.
