The White Pass Employes' Club held an important meeting last night in the club rooms. There was an election of officers and an important question came up. It was decided to change the usual custom and outsiders would be allowed membership in the club. They are to present their names to the executive committee with $5, and if a majority of the committee report favorable, he becomes a member. After the first month an assessment of $1.25 will be allowed. The outsiders will have no voice in the proceedings of the club, neither can he become an officer. The officers of the club elected were as follows:
President, E. A. Murphy; Vice, F. J. McCaughey; secretary, F. J. Webber, and Treasurer, S. H. West.
