Establish a Canning Kitchen

Milbank, July 15.—For the third summer a community canning kitchen, under the direction of an expert in canning and preserving, is being conducted here. Miss May Keithline, county club leader, is responsible for this idea. Funds are supplied by the Commercial club and the city council.

The expert conducts daily demonstrations in cold pack canning and in drying throughout the summer months.

Women and girls of the community bring fruits and vegetables and can or dry them under expert supervision.
