We learn from the Fredericksburg Recorder that a man who passed himself off in Prince William and Stafford counties, some two months since, as the Rev. Mr. McClay, of the M. E. Church, presented himself on Wednesday last at the counter of Mr. Cox, merchant tailor of that town, with an order, signed W. P. Conway, for a suit of clothes. The order was honored forthwith; and just about as soon after, the accomplished scoundrel mounted his nag and was off for parts unknown. He then called himself the Rev. T. T. Wysong. It is proper to say that the Baltimore Conference contains individuals of the names this scoundrel has thought proper to assume. His real name is believed to be Dupuy. He is about 23 or 25 years of age.
