Home is Robbed Of $6,000
SHREVEPORT, La.,
October 1-
(AP)-The home of
B. T. Moore,
chairman of
the board
of the Commercial National bank
was entered
some time after midnight
today by
thieves, who escaped with jewelry and
clothing valued at approximately $6,000.
The family were not the only losers,
however, as 14 expensive dresses
that had been sent out on approval by
several stores were also taken.
Included in the loot were a diamond
studded ladies watch, man's gold
watch, bar pin set with three diamonds,
two diamond rings, antique gold necklace
with pearl circle, a coral necklace,
sable neckpiece, two purses containing
cash and railroad passes and clothing.
