The Fleet that has been for some Time equipping, has lately been put under new Orders, and for the Sake of Expedition, only 24 Galleys will be got ready, and it is thought that by the 25th of May the Troops will begin to embark for Germany. M. de Tschornskoof, Chamberlain to her Imperial Majesty, is actually set out for Vienna, in order to compliment his Imperial Majesty on his Accession to the Throne; but it is more than suspected that he is furnished with the necessary Powers for signing the new Alliance that has been for some Time upon the Carpet, and which is calculated to balance that concluded not long ago between Sweden and Prussia.
It is reported here, and the Report gains Credit, that her Imperial Majesty will take upon herself the Care of educating the Children of the late Princess Anne of Mecklenburgh, and will very speedily consent to set her Consort the Prince of Brunswick at Liberty.
