ENLIST IN AIR FORCE
Three Smyrna Boys Leave For Texas Air Force Base

Three Smyrna boys left last Friday for Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, after enlisting in the United States Air Force. They are Earl G. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris, Sr.; James Ryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ryan; and John W. Montague, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Montague, Sr. Young Harris was assistant service manager at Wilson Refrigeration, Inc. previous to his enlistment; Ryan was with General Motors, and Montague, after attending Goldey College, was associated with Belber Trunk and Bag Company. The three boys were graduated from John Bassett Moore High School.
