The Whigs are holding Mass Meetings and Barbecues in every part of the State save only Vanderburgh county. There was one at New Albany a few days ago numbering about 1000, which was addressed by the Hon. Ben Hardin of Ky., and attempted to be broken up by the locos making a subsequent appointment for a meeting on the same day to be addressed by T. J. Henley who posted home from Congress in advance of the adjournment for the purpose. It is said to have been very amusing to see his blank look of astonishment when two thirds of his meeting left to hear the good Whig thunder of Old Ben Hardin.
