Full Text
The fourth number of the Evangelical Magazine, an excellent periodical work, was published in London in July 1793. The profits accruing from it, are devoted to the relief of poor widows of Gospel ministers, of various christian denominations. Under the auspices of heaven, and the laborious attention of its valuable editors, it has increased in its sales to an extent exceeding the most sanguine expectation. The Magazine for July, 1803, gives the pleasing information, that 941l. 8s. sterling, have been generously distributed, agreeably to the original design; and that the sale of the work was then 12,000 monthly.
