ANSWERS TO CONTESTANTS

The Editor of the Picture Puzzle Pastime: Dear Sir—Will you please let me know if Picture No. 54, Sept. 1, is the name of a city, town, plantation or place, or is it an error in print and should mean the place of lake and rivers and let me know about the Solution Blank Book and how to cut the picture out if the name of the picture such as "what name of a city, town, plantation or place in Maine does this picture represent?" Does this have to be cut out to and pasted in the book?

And send me a list of your prizes.

No. 54 has the correct wording underneath. In regard to Solution book see answer to M. F. H. in issue of the 19th. First prize $400, second $200, third $100, fourth $50, fifth $25, ten $10.00, 25 $5.00.
