RED LIGHT CHARACTER GIVEN STIFF SENTENCE

Early yesterday morning Officer Henry Hall arrested Harry Snow, whom he found at a house of prostitution, conducted by Nell Fishback in the Brewery Gulch Redlight district.

Snow was later arraigned before Judge Hogan and pleaded not guilty to the charge of being a lewd and dissolute character. He was released under $50 bond and when his case was tried yesterday afternoon it was clearly proven that he was one of those undesirables who live off the earnings of disorderly women and he was assessed $50 or 50 days.

He went to jail.
