To Start Work On Sewerage Project 14th.

Work on the West Jefferson sewerage project is scheduled to be resumed by WPA next Thursday, September 14.

Town officials yesterday said that, according to WPA, the work would certainly start this time if enough certified labor could be obtained by that time.

A report from the welfare department shows that during recent weeks a large number of WPA workers, who were laid off last month as a result of the 30-day vacation period for 18 months' employees, have made applications again. All of them, it is pointed out, may not be certified, but a sufficient number should be available for the project.
