Fire.—We regret to learn, says the Fayetteville Observer, that a fire broke out in the village of Ashborough, Randolph county, N. C. which was not got under until seven buildings were consumed. It originated in the store of John B. Troy, Esq. probably from the fire which was left on the hearth when the clerks retired to rest. Its progress was stopped at Hoover's Hotel, by blowing up an adjoining store. We did not learn the names of the sufferers, except Mr. Troy, whose loss is supposed to amount to four or five thousand dollars.
