PARK LOAN SUBSCRIBED FOR

City Treasurer Howard D. Ross announced to-day that the $35,000 park loan had been subscribed for in full, but that conditional subscriptions were being received, so that in case some of the persons who have subscribed for the bonds fail to accept them, the city will have other subscribers to revert to.

The offer of the bonds at popular subscription was the first time such a thing was ever attempted in Wilmington, and the result is gratifying to both the city officials and to the Sinking Fund Commissioners.

There is no doubt in their mind that $100,000 in bonds could have been disposed of.
