Middletown Boys in Disgrace and Hillhouse Game Cancelled.

Middletown, April 28.—The Middletown High school baseball game with the Hillhouse High school at New Haven was cancelled Saturday and the reason has just leaked out. It has caused much surprise here.

It seems that the members of the team went to Clinton last Wednesday to meet the Morgan school team. While there it is alleged some of the students got some liquor and it is alleged that their actions were such that complaint was made of them.

The facts reached the ears of the High school authorities here and they held a meeting, and after investigation voted to permit no more baseball games or athletics at the school for two years to come.

The baseball team was ordered disbanded and no games arranged will be played from now on.
