OUR GRADUATES
No finer array of High School graduates ever graced the rostrum, than those who faced a new world as they proudly bowed to the 300 who came to bid them bon voyage, at Faurot's hall last Monday night.
To reach the goal of your ambitions, sacrifices were made and many disappointments met. These you have overcome. You will meet new difficulties in life with the same grim determination to overcome them as you did before reaching your goal.
This is not the end of a perfect day: rather the dawn of a new day. You face a world torn with strife more deadly than any conception of the human mind.
At the Cross Roads -Which Way? Whether your destination is already determined, or whether it still hangs in the balance your decision must be made subject to your country's call, Until the end comes, let all your aims be your God and your country's,
Happy indeed Is the boy or girl who goes forth to battle with the world, carries with him his personal God, A false conception of the God of heaven envelopes the world in cruel warfare. To-day the world is coming back to the God of our fathers, Remember fox holes house no atheist.
We were touched as we watched proud parents, faces beaming. fearful lest you strayed too far from them. Everything you have done, everything you will do. is life's greatest concern to them - That is God's way.
Honor Thy father and mother is the only commandment that carries with it a promise. That promise has never been broken. you face the rising sun.
