Local Dairy Plans Exhibit In State Fair

Ford's Dairy of Quincy will display several Jerseys in the dairy and beef cattle exhibitions at the Florida State Fair to be held in Tampa, February 6 through 17.

R. D. Jackson, fair livestock committee chairman, stated that more than 60 livestock exhibitors from 17 Florida counties and eight other states had entered nearly 600 purebred dairy and beef cattle in the Fair. This is the largest number ever entered in the 57-year history of the exposition.

Dairy cattle will hold the Fair spotlight the first week, February 6-10, while the beef cattle show is scheduled for the second week, February 12-17. A parade of champions will be held both weeks.
