Replica Of The Nativity Being Erected

The Santa Cruz County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the construction of a replica of the Nativity in oils and has commissioned Florencio Mendez to do the painting in three dimensions.

The painting will stand in front of the Honor Roll Plaque in the City Park. Work will be completed on December 5th and illumination of the painting will start on December 10th and continue each night until after New Years.

The Rotary Club is sponsoring the annual community Christmas tree which will be decorated in the City Park. Presents will be given to the children of Nogales on Sunday evening, Dec. 22.

A musical program of Christmas carols and community singing will be directed by William Fink, director of the Nogales High School music department.
