CHICAGO, Mar. 2-(ANP)—Former Judge Albert B. George, and Joseph D. Bibb, editor of the Chicago Whip, were among the names added to the large list of candidates seeking public office at the primaries to be held in April. Mr. Bibb will contest for the Republican nomination as representative in the state legislature from the 5th senatorial district. He is an able campaigner and due to factional trouble in that district is expected to wage an interesting battle against Wm. Warfield, the present incumbent.
Mr. George, who is now serving as a member of the state pardon board, has served one term as municipal judge. He was defeated at the last general election after making an excellent record in the office. The position which he now holds is one of the highest in the gift of the governor. Governor Emmerson, who appointed him is however, not a candidate for re-election.
Atty. George C. Adams has filed for state auditor.
