Man Shocked By Car Wire May Not Live

Shocked by a high-powered Georgia Power company traction service wire when it fell on him as he was crossing the intersection of Fair and Chapel streets condition of Henry Stanley, of 574 Alpine west, was undetermined early this morning after doctors at Grady had rendered hurried emergency treatment.

The wire is believed to have been knocked down by a limb of a tree. Linemen of the Georgia Power company rushed to the scene of the accident and soon had the high tension wire out of the reach of pedestrians.

He was carried to Grady hospital by J. M. Davis, white, one of the linesman, who told doctors that Stanley was lying on the street when they arrived.
