CONFERENCE TO HOLD MEMORIAL SERVICES

Dr. Lindahl's Memory Honored at Rockford-Mrs. Bersell Heads W. F. M. Society.

Rockford, Ill., May 9.-Swedish Lutheran pastors in session here have encountered so much business that the conference is likely to be prolonged another day.

The important feature of the conference thus far was the consolidation of the Old People's home and Orphans' home under the same management.

Memorial services for Dr. S. P. A. Lindahl of Augustana college will be held tomorrow morning.

The Women's Foreign Missionary society of the conference held its annual meeting yesterday and elected officers as follows:

President-Mrs. Uma Bersell, Rock Island.

Vice president-Mrs. A. W. Stark, DeKalb.

Secretary Mrs. V. H. Hegstrom, Chicago.

Corresponding secretary-Miss Jennie Engdahl, Chicago.

Treasurer-Miss Inga Swenson, Chicago.

The same officers served last year.
