Workers Move In
For Phone System

Approximately 25 workmen of the Western Electric Company, manufacturing and supply unit of the Bell System, moved into London this week to begin the job of installing cable, wiring and dial equipment in the new telephone building.
The men are under the supervision of L. L. Chandler, foreman.
According to R. P. Redman, Ohio Bell commercial manager, the installation of the new dial equipment will be completed in late summer and the changeover to dial operation is scheduled for October 7.
Work on the new building is virtually completed, Redman stated.
