The Wisconsin Insurance federation,
an organization composed of about 400
insurance men in all branches in Wis-
consin, was formed at a meeting Mon-
day afternoon in the meeting hall of
the Board of Fire Underwriters,
Mitchell building.
Co-operation and education are the
keynotes of the movement in the
Badger state and copied after similar
organizations in Illinois, Pennsylvania,
Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and other
states.
The federation includes every line
of insurance whether operating on a
stock, mutual or fraternal basis.
One of the principal objects of the
organization is to furnish its members
and the public with authoritative in-
formation on the origin, nature and ef-
fects of all movements connected with
the insurance business.
Mark T. McKee, Detroit, secretary-
treasurer of the national council, and
Wade Fetzer and J. A. Morrison, Chi-
cago, assisted in the formation of the
Wisconsin organization.
Officers will be elected late in the
afternoon.
