$372.69 CADENCE

Local donors keep step in March of Dimes trek

Thoughtful localites last week joined ranks to contribute $372.69 in the annual March of Dimes collection drive.

A-block residents flipped in a whopping $197.44. Guests of the State in B-block zoomed to the coffers with $142.45. Farm Colony cowboys rounded up a worthy herd of $18.50, while those likeable lads in D-block parceled together a commendable and surprising $14.30—surprising because the "unsalaried" just naturally aren't figured to have many dimes to spare.

Cooperation? What a contrast to last time! It came from all corners this year. And the Mirror would like to thank all concerned—especially YOU.
