Full Text

Men or Principle
(Strasburg Virginian.)

Are you a Democrat because some friend of yours is a Democrat? When you go to the ballot box do you vote for the man or for the principles he advocates? If the Democratic party support the ticket and present an unbroken phalanx to the enemy, the march to victory on Nov. 7th. will be easy, but on the other hand if discord should reign in the party, personal prejudice may sacrifice party principles and turn the State over into the hands of your opponents. Let every advocate of the platform go to the polls and vote for the men who are bound to stand on the platform adopted by the convention who nominated them.
